Drop Biscuit Strawberry Shortcake

When I think about why I love baking so much, it always brings me back to my childhood. I was lucky to grow up in a home where trying new things in the kitchen was encouraged. While cooking never quite stuck (just ask my husband!), I naturally gravitated towards baking.

Some of my sweetest memories are of baking with my dad—experimenting with new recipes, making a mess, and laughing the whole way through. As I learned more, my confidence in the kitchen grew, and baking became a creative outlet and a true source of comfort.

That’s why I love this recipe so much. It’s a perfect one to make with your kids—it’s playful, hands-on, and just the right kind of messy. It’s just as beautiful as it is delicious, and it’s a wonderful way to build confidence in the kitchen while creating something everyone will enjoy.

This would be the perfect treat for Memorial Day weekend—or really any day this summer. Enjoy every bite!
